Please take a minute this evening to ask your student/s what they learned at school about washing their hands from Ms. Andrea and Ms. Abby from the Franklin County Health Department. The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater St. Louis will be administering Flu Vaccines at Strain-Japan R-XVI School on Friday, October 18th from 9-10 a.m. If you wish to have a flu vaccine or wish for your student to have a vaccine, please contact Maria in the office at 573-627-3243 or email office@strainjapan.com.

Global Handwashing Day is Tuesday, October 15th. The Franklin County Health Department will be coming to School to show our students how properly wash their hands and stay healthy. As we approach cold and flu season, please talk to your children about the importance of proper hand washing techniques.
